Dive deep into the world of Escape from Site 19 by exploring the fascinating backstories and unique traits of the characters you can role-play within the game. Each character is meticulously crafted, drawing inspiration from the expansive SCP Universe, ensuring that your gameplay is always fresh, immersive, and challenging. Here are a few examples of the type of story you might create for your character:
The Worshipper
The remnants of the Church of the Broken God had laid scattered for many years, and its worshippers had gone with the wind. So there was no one to continue the holy work of gathering the fragments of the Broken God and reinstating him to his rightful throne.
But that has now all changed.
When anyone asks, he insists he is nothing and no one, introducing himself only as The Worshipper. He isn’t the first, but he’s determined to be the last, the one who will return glory to his deity. He has gathered more pieces of the Broken God than anyone before, driven by his sixth sense. And the same sense is now telling him that there is another piece of the Broken God beyond the walls of the secret complex. That makes it his divine duty to infiltrate the place…
The Agent
Soon after he joined the Unusual Incidents Unit, the others started calling him Mulder. At first, it was an annoying joke, but during the course of the work, he got used to it. After all, working in the UIU was kind of similar, no matter that instead of Scully, he got paired with a grumpy guy called Brandon. In any case, the name stuck, and he is now simply Mulder to everyone.
Of course, he has always known the UIU was a career dead end, a place where the FBI puts any loser unlikely to attract attention. But that didn’t stop him volunteering for the assignment straight out of training. Maybe it was his curiosity, forever driving him to ask questions. Or maybe some need, based on a past injustice, to uncover mysteries…
And maybe that’s why he’s ended up on a tour of Site 19, a tour he suddenly realises he’s going to regret… especially now his Foundation escort has just dropped dead and the Site is resounded with blaring alarms…
The MTF Commando
Sergeant Emerson is a veteran of the Foundation. He has served for many years, climbing through the ranks from a mere private to where he is now. Today was supposed to be his day off, so he’d decided to spend the day in bed watching his favorite TV show.
That’s why he initially didn’t move when the alarms began to wail. After all, security forces in the Foundation aren’t necessarily expected to report on duty for a little on-site skirmish. That is, unless the situation demands it. So he decided to check what was happening by switching on his radio and tuning to a channel. Instantly, he heard panicked calls from his colleagues. He had no choice. He had to investigate. So, with a groan, he got up and prepared to pacify whichever rowdy anomalous toy or telekinetic troublemaker had lost its temper today…
It was on his way to the incident site that he bumped into…
The Shaman
It was supposed to be the most important day in the Serpent Hand’s history. This Group of Interest – as the Foundation calls them – has suffered from increasing divisions, which benefits no one other than the Foundation. However, today, they were supposed to unite with the most powerful ritual The Shaman had ever performed. The unity ritual. Once it was complete, the entire Serpent’s Hand would be under her control. Alas, it was not meant to be, as in the final moments, Foundation soldiers stormed in. Fortunately, she was prepared even for this eventuality and, using her powers, managed to avoid harm… unlike her associates.
But she didn’t manage to avoid capture. That said, luckily for her, the Foundation doesn’t seem interested in her knowledge right now. She just spends her days sitting in her cell or exchanging secret messages with the other prisoners, such as…
The A.R.G.U.S. Scout
The Foundation has never been friendly with the mercenary group known as A.R.G.U.S. Inc., so it was surprising when a lone A.R.G.U.S. solider showed up at Site 19’s gates. He was swiftly brought inside to a containment chamber and questioned. He insisted that he could provide the Foundation with intel on A.R.G.U.S. activities. Since then, two A.R.G.U.S infiltrators have been caught trying to kill the prisoner, so he has been moved to a more secure location. And because his history is unknown, that location is a Euclid containment cell.
The day of the incident was like any other in Foundation captivity. Breakfast at 9am, an interrogation at 2pm, and long stretches of boredom in between. Beats being tortured and killed though, the prisoner thought. But then those alarms started blaring and people began running past his cell. Desperately, he tried to break down the door, but to no avail… until suddenly – CLICK – the door to the cell opened…
And this is only the beginning… So why don’t you get yourself a copy of Escape from Site 19 and start to build your own world…
